Global Green Beauty Awards Partner with Soil Association Certification for the 2026 Awards

The Global Green Beauty Awards are pleased to announce a new collaboration with Soil Association Certification, introduced for this year’s 2026 awards through a dedicated category recognising excellence in certified beauty.

As a specialist awards programme focused on eco, natural, organic and vegan beauty, the Global Green Beauty Awards recognise products that demonstrate genuine innovation, responsible formulation and high standards of sustainability.

The new category, Best COSMOS Certified Beauty Product, highlights outstanding products that meet the COSMOS standard, one of the most widely recognised certifications for organic and natural cosmetics worldwide.

Soil Association Certification is one of the leading certifiers of organic and natural cosmetics and is a founding member of the COSMOS standard, an internationally recognised framework for organic and natural beauty products. The organisation works with brands around the world to certify products that meet strict requirements covering ingredients, processing, environmental impact and labelling, helping to ensure transparency and trust for both brands and consumers.

This special category is open to products that hold valid COSMOS certification, whether COSMOS Certified Organic or COSMOS Natural. It has been developed in collaboration with Soil Association Certification to ensure alignment with recognised organic and sustainability standards, further strengthening the awards’ commitment to transparency, credibility and meaningful recognition within the green beauty sector.

Entries in this category will be evaluated on two key criteria. Products will be judged 50 percent on efficacy, including performance, results and overall user experience, and 50 percent on formulation, ingredient selection and sustainability, including sourcing, packaging and environmental impact.

Judging for this category will be carried out by technical specialists from Soil Association Certification, bringing expert insight into certified formulation and sustainability practices.

Now in its seventh year, the Global Green Beauty Awards have been recognising innovation and excellence in natural, organic, vegan and sustainable beauty since 2020. The awards span multiple category types, including organic, natural and vegan beauty, green packaging, ethical and clean formulations, wellbeing products, supplements, green ingredients and brand awards. This broad structure allows brands of all sizes to showcase products that demonstrate genuine progress in sustainability, ingredient integrity and responsible formulation.

Entries for the 2026 Global Green Beauty Awards open on 1st May, and brands holding COSMOS certification are warmly invited to submit their products for consideration in this new category.
