About the Green Beauty Awards
The Green Beauty Awards exist to spotlight the products, people, and brands setting new standards in sustainable beauty. The programme celebrates innovation rooted in ethics, where formulation quality meets environmental responsibility.
Categories span skincare, haircare, bodycare, makeup, wellness, and lifestyle, alongside areas recognising ingredient integrity, packaging innovation, and brand ethos. Together they reflect the many ways sustainability is being approached across the beauty industry today.
In 2026, the awards also include a dedicated category developed in collaboration with Soil Association Certification, recognising products that meet trusted organic and sustainability standards and highlighting the importance of credible certification within green beauty.
The awards recognise thoughtful progress across the industry, from lower impact packaging to carefully sourced ingredients and transparent formulation practices. Winning entries reflect a considered approach to beauty that balances performance with responsibility.
As green beauty continues to evolve, the awards provide a space to recognise brands and products contributing to a more responsible and transparent beauty landscape.

Who Decides the Winners of the Global Green Beauty Awards?
The Global Green Beauty Awards are judged by a panel of independent experts drawn from across the beauty industry. This includes professionals with experience in formulation, beauty journalism, skincare education, and sustainability.

To support a fair and consistent process, judges remain anonymous during assessment. Each brings an understanding of both product performance and responsible beauty practices, reflecting the values at the heart of the awards.
Judging considers the quality and efficacy of every entry alongside its wider approach to sustainability. This may include ingredient sourcing, packaging decisions, ethical manufacturing, and overall environmental impact in relation to the category entered.

The dedicated category developed in collaboration with Soil Association Certification is assessed separately by the organisation’s technical specialists rather than the Global Green Beauty Awards judging panel. Their expertise ensures products within this category are reviewed in line with recognised organic and sustainability standards.
Third party certification is not a requirement across the wider awards. Brands are encouraged to present their approach to sustainability clearly and authentically, demonstrating how their product aligns with the category criteria.
There are no restrictions on launch dates. Products do not need to be newly released to qualify, only relevant to the green beauty space and reflective of a considered approach to sustainability.

Entrants are asked to provide two product samples, allowing judges to experience each product fully and assess its quality and performance in context.
