Formerly the Global Makeup Awards

 

The Global Makeup Awards is now the Global Hair and Makeup Awards.

Now in its eighth year, the awards have a new name that better reflects the products and brands taking part. Makeup remains central, while haircare, hair tools and styling devices now have a more prominent place within the awards.

Run from the UK and open to brands worldwide, the Global Hair and Makeup Awards recognise products across hair, makeup, skincare, body care, fragrance, beauty supplements and devices.

 

Our awards receive more than 700 entries each year, from independent launches and growing businesses to products from some of the industry’s best-known names.

 

2026 dates

Entries open: Monday 31 August 2026
Entries close: Friday 23 October 2026
Winners announced: Tuesday 1 December 2026

What can brands enter?

The 2026 awards include categories across:

• Haircare, colour and styling

• Hair tools, accessories and electrical devices

• Makeup, lashes, brows and makeup tools

• Skincare and SPF

• Body care, self-tan and fragrance

• Beauty devices

• Hair, skin, nail and beauty supplements

• Product, brand and regional awards

Categories may be divided or combined after entries close, depending on the number and type of products received. This allows similar products to be judged together in the most appropriate groups.

The awards offer brands independent recognition that can be shared with customers, retailers, distributors and the wider beauty industry.

Recognising established names and new discoveries

Previous winners include L’Oréal, MUA, Revolution, Missguided Beauty, Elle Parfums and FOREO, alongside independent and emerging brands from around the world.

Every entry is assessed by our judging panel, with products considered on their quality, performance and overall experience.
