Autumn Home Fragrance and Gift Ideas: GGBA 2026 Winners

Candles, room scents and a little pampering feel right for this time of year.

Following the 2026 Global Green Beauty Awards, we wanted to share some of the winners, including a few smaller brands with beautiful products and thoughtful refill options.

Amaura London’s Ignite Oud & Geranium Candle is genuinely stunning, and it smells lovely too. It received Gold for Best Candle. We particularly liked the metal container, which you can keep and use again with an Ignite refill. If you’re buying a candle as a gift, that’s a lovely detail to point out to the recipient.

Kyrra has two candles in our selection. Astín, which received Silver for Best Candle, combines rose geranium, wild chamomile, English lavender, ylang ylang and frankincense. There’s room for florals in an autumn home fragrance collection, especially if sweet or spicy scents aren’t your thing.

The packaging impressed us too. Kyrra describes Astín’s packaging as plastic-free, recycled and recyclable, with recovered algae incorporated into the outer wrap. The glass candle container is refillable.

Freyr Organic Candle received Bronze for Best Re-Fillable Product. Inspired by the Italian Alps, its fragrance includes basil, red mandarin, eucalyptus and Atlas cedar. Kyrra uses mycelium packaging for its organic range. If you’re choosing Freyr for its refill option, make sure you order the full-size candle: the travel version isn’t refillable.

Rituals’ The Ritual of Yozakura Fragrance Sticks were a particular favourite. We thought the fragrance was amazing. They won Gold for Best Diffuser and are well worth considering if you prefer a continuing room scent without lighting a candle.

Rituals also has a crystal diffuser range, which adds a lovely decorative element to home fragrance. The Ritual of Jing Mineral Stone Diffuser received Silver for Best Wellness Product. Its green glass container and crystals look beautiful on display, while the lavender and sandalwood fragrance suits an evening wind-down. If you enjoy having stones and crystals around you, it’s a lovely way to include them in a calming space.

HIQILI’s Sea Salt Sage Fragrance Oil also won Gold, for Best Relaxing Home-Fragrance Product. Check its compatibility with your diffuser or other equipment before buying, as it isn’t a ready-to-use room spray.

For an autumn pampering gift, there’s also Douvalls’ Destress and Revitalise Natural Shower Spray. A shower product is a welcome inclusion for anyone who doesn’t have a bath or rarely finds time for a soak. It received Bronze for Best Spa Product, Bronze for Best Essential Oil Product and Highly Commended for Best Relaxation Mist / Spray.

IVY OPAL’s Good Night Sleep Aroma Mist received Gold for Best Sleep Product. Himalayan cedarwood and geranium feature in the fragrance. IVY OPAL also took Gold for Best Wellness Product with its Sleep Essential Oil Roller.

Spa Ceylon’s DE-STRESS Harmonising Essence Mist combines tangerine and makrut lime with frankincense and sandalwood. It won Gold for Best Relaxation Mist / Spray. The brand recommends spraying it lightly over the body, pillows or bed linen, including after a bath or before bed.

These are products to enjoy as part of an evening routine, with fragrance preferences varying from person to person. The sleep and relaxation award names shouldn’t be read as promises of a health benefit.

If you’re choosing a gift, it helps to know what the person already enjoys. A favourite floral perfume might give you more guidance than a seasonal label. And with the refillable candles, do pass on the refill details. They’re easy to miss, and being able to use a favourite container again is part of what we liked about this year’s selection.
