Each year, the Global Green Beauty Awards highlight the very best in clean, conscious, and ethical beauty. In 2025, the competition was fiercer than ever, with hundreds of entries pouring in from both established global names and rising independent brands. What truly sets this awards programme apart is the diversity of brands who take part — from beauty giants to niche pioneers — all united by a shared commitment to sustainability.

This year, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the standout winners whose innovations and leadership in green beauty really impressed our judging panel.

A closer look at the judging process

Entries to the Global Green Beauty Awards are judged independently and hands-on. That means every product is tested by our team of judges, who spend several weeks trialling each one to assess not only performance, but also ingredient integrity, packaging sustainability, and brand ethos. We don’t just look at claims — we look at real-world results. We also consider certifications, recycling schemes, refill initiatives, and ethical practices.

That level of scrutiny is part of what makes the Global Green Beauty Awards trusted among both consumers and industry professionals. And with entries from major names like Tata Harper, Rituals, INIKA Organic, and Paul Mitchell this year, it’s clear that the awards have become a respected benchmark in the UK beauty industry and beyond.

Floral Street – Making fragrance sustainable

British fragrance house Floral Street was a standout in 2025, winning Gold for Most Sustainable Packaging and Best Vegan Fragrance for Women for its Arizona Bloom perfume.

Floral Street’s commitment to sustainability runs deep — from its biodegradable pulp cartons to its transparent ingredient sourcing. Arizona Bloom, with its warm, uplifting scent, proved that natural fragrances can be sophisticated, long-lasting, and ethical. The packaging itself impressed judges with its attention to detail and environmental innovation, showing how beauty can be both mindful and beautifully designed.

Eco By Sonya Driver – Leading the way in organic skincare

Eco By Sonya Driver has consistently performed well in previous editions of the awards, and 2025 was no different. The brand walked away with Gold awards for Best Organic Oil (Glory Oil) and Best Organic Body Moisturiser (Coconut Body Milk), along with several other accolades across different categories.

The judges were particularly impressed by how Eco By Sonya Driver combines certified organic ingredients with clinical-level performance. Glory Oil, for example, is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, delivering noticeable skin improvements over time. The brand’s ethics also stood out — from plastic-free options to its support of social and environmental causes.

Rossano Ferretti Parma – Luxury haircare with a natural focus

Luxury meets nature with Rossano Ferretti Parma, who took home Gold for Best Organic Bath/Shower Product with their Vivace Everyday Active Shampoo, and Best Natural Conditioner.

Rossano Ferretti Parma is known for its high-end salon formulations, but what made them stand out in 2025 was their dedication to using organic and naturally derived ingredients without compromising performance. The shampoo and conditioner duo impressed judges with their elegant textures and results-driven approach, proving that clean haircare can still feel indulgent.

Paul Mitchell – Sustainability from a salon icon

Few brands are as recognisable in the haircare world as Paul Mitchell. In 2025, they were awarded Gold for Best Green Haircare Brand, a category that acknowledges not just product quality, but also a company’s environmental and social impact.

Paul Mitchell has been cruelty-free since the beginning, but in recent years, the brand has pushed further into green innovation — from using recycled packaging to adopting cleaner, more sustainable ingredients. Their continued evolution shows that even well-established names can lead the way in sustainability.

What links these winning brands is more than just great products. They’ve all made long-term commitments to reducing their environmental impact while still delivering on quality and performance. This year’s Global Green Beauty Awards winners reflect the direction that conscious beauty is heading — towards formulations that are not only ethical, but also effective and luxurious.

The awards also act as a mirror for consumer demand. Shoppers are no longer satisfied with greenwashing or vague promises — they want transparency, results, and values that align with their own. The brands recognised in 2025 are the ones stepping up to meet those expectations.

Looking ahead to the Beauty Awards 2026

With this year’s awards wrapped, attention is already turning to next year. The Global Green Beauty Awards 2026 will open for entries early in the new year, and we expect even more exciting developments in the world of sustainable beauty.

As more brands innovate in areas like refillable packaging, zero-waste formulations, and biotech ingredients, we’re looking forward to seeing how the industry continues to evolve. The 2026 awards will once again offer a platform for those leading the change — whether they’re independent brands with fresh ideas or major companies reshaping their legacy through sustainability.

For brands considering entry, the Global Green Beauty Awards offer not just industry recognition, but the opportunity to reach a wide audience of conscious consumers who are paying attention to what’s inside — and outside — their beauty products.
