Preparing Your Entry for the 2026 Global Green Beauty Awards

As brands begin planning for beauty awards 2026, many are reviewing which products best represent their work and how to prepare a strong, honest entry. The Global Green Beauty Awards are product-led, with judging focused on both performance and how genuinely a product fits within its green category.

Looking at previous winners gives a clear sense of what judges respond to. Past Gold-winning brands include internationally recognised names such as Weleda, Ultrasun and Rossano Ferretti, alongside highly respected green and natural brands including ZENZ Organic Products, Bee Cosmetics and Orpheus. Independent and specialist brands sit comfortably alongside established names, with quality and formulation always taking priority over scale.

Across natural skincare categories, winning entries have covered a wide range of product types, including:

  • gentle cleansers and cleansing balms

  • brightening and pigmentation-focused treatments

  • hydrating, revitalising and microbiome-supporting serums

  • exfoliating and clay-based face masks

  • Examples from previous years include products such as Sásta Microbiome Booster Serum, ZENZ Organic Products Pure Micellar Foam, Fengjie Brightening Essence and Bee Cosmetics Rejuvenating Facial Cream. These entries demonstrate that natural skincare winners are varied in approach, while still clearly meeting category expectations.

In sun care, performance remains central. Previous Gold winners in natural SPF categories have included products from Ultrasun, Weleda, Viorica, Evolve Organic Beauty and Ringana. These categories consistently reward products that combine strong protection with thoughtful formulation and responsible positioning.

When preparing an entry, it is helpful to focus on the essentials. Judges are looking for clear product information, accurate ingredient lists and straightforward explanations of what the product does and why it belongs in its chosen category.

For green and wellbeing awards categories in 2026, brands may also wish to share brief supporting information around formulation approach, ingredient sourcing, packaging or sustainability measures. This helps judges understand category fit, particularly for natural, vegan and ethical entries.

The Global Green Beauty Awards do not require official certification for vegan or organic categories. Products are assessed on how genuinely they align with the expectations of the category. For natural categories, there is no minimum percentage requirement unless stated, with the exception of Best 99% Natural Product and Best 100% Natural Product.

Entries for the 2026 Global Green Beauty Awards will open on 1 May. The awards continue to recognise beauty and wellbeing products that combine performance, responsibility and thoughtful formulation.
