What regions do the Global Makeup Awards cover?
The 2020 Global Makeup Awards are now open to four regions:
I am from a country which is not in those regions, can I still enter?
Yes - if your brand is available to purchase in that region by shop or if you ship to that country and therefore available to that region's consumers. How to choose what region to enter

Does my brands product have to be launched after a certain date? Products must be launched after January 2018 unless they are a brand category. See below

I am entering a brand category - what product should I send? Please send 6 x product samples that give a good representation of your brand. If you have already entered a product in a different category, you can use the same 6 product samples for the brand category product samples should you wish.
Price of entry? It costs £100 to enter one product for one category. Or, we have a special discount of £600 to enter 6 products for unlimited relevant categories.
How do I pay? You can pay online with a debit, credit card or apple pay when you have added the products to your basket via 'Enter Awards' at the top of the webpage.

How many product samples? We need 6 product samples for every product entered. Product miniatures are accepted.
Where are the dates of the awards, when are they announced? The dates for every region are at the top of the webpage under 'Regional Dates.' You can find award opening dates, closing dates, deadline for samples being sent and when they will be announced
Where are the awards announced? Awards are announced online via 'previous winners' at the top of the webpage. Brands who have won will be emailed to inform them of their win. If you have not won you will not be emailed?
How do I receive my winners badge and certificate? Winners will be sent the online winners badge soon after the awards have been announced by email. To receive a certificate copy please email firstname.lastname@example.org requesting one with your address. It will be posted for free
Usage rights for winners badge You can use your winners badge online, on print and on products in perpetuity.
How do I receive a perspex trophy? A perspex trophy needs to be paid for separately at the cost of £150. Once you have been informed of your win you will be asked if you would like to purchase one, but please note there is a deadline for ordering it. One product win for one category can be placed on one trophy. So if you have multiple products that have own then these would need to be on separate trophies.
How do I enter? Enter via clicking 'enter awards' at the top of the page. Add a category to your cart and write the name of the product you are entering. You will need to send 6 product samples for every product entered. To enter more than one product add different categories yo your cart.
How are winners chosen? Products are judged by a panel of 6 judges from the beauty industry. To keep the awards fair we do not disclose their identity. Products are judged on their product efficacy.
Who are the judges? We keep the identities of the judges private to keep the awards fair and not biased.
How do I guarantee a win? There is no way to guarantee a win in the awards as the products are judged solely and independently by the judges with the judging criteria being product efficacy. Tips - entering more products for different categories will increase the exposure of your products to the judges and mean that your product has more opportunities to win. However, we cannot guarantee any wins in the Global Makeup Awards. If the product is not judged by the judges as a gold or silver winner, then unfortunately you have not won. It is therefore important that you enter a competitive product which has excellent results and is likely to impress the judges.
How do I enter Editor's Choice Award? Any brand who enters a product into the Global Makeup Awards is automatically entered into the Editor's Choice Award. Here the favourites of the Editor are announced and could be products that haven't won a specific category which they entered for.
I'm a blogger, can I enter? Unfortunately we do not have categories relevant for beauty bloggers yet. For the moment the Global Makeup Awards is only open for brands with products.
